Although Business Process Management has proven, for the most part, to be successful in supporting both efficiency and effectiveness in business processes, its adoption has proven to be a challenge for many organizations. In his Column this month, Jan vom Brocke teams up with his colleague at the University of Liechtenstein, Peyman Badakhshan, to present a tool for organizations to use in assessing and developing their BPM approach.

Peyman Badakhshan is Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at the Institute of Information Systems, the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management at the University of Liechtenstein in the Business Economics program. He holds a Master degree in Information Systems from the University of Liechtenstein and a Master degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran.
