BPMN 2.0 is the latest version of the Business Process Model and Notation specification from OMG. BPMN’s primary goal is to provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business stakeholders. The BPMN 2.0 specification defines the notation, metamodel and interchange format for business process modeling. BPMN is by now the prevalent notation in process modeling tools.
